Why do I need an Electrical condition report?

All electrical installations deteriorate with age and use. They should therefore be inspected and tested at regular intervals to check whether they are in a satisfactory condition for continued use.

Once these safety checks (commonly known as a Periodic inspection) have been completed you will be issued with an Electrical Installation Certificate.

A condition report inspection will:

Identify

any defective electrical work.

Highlight

any lack of earthing or bonding.
